By reaching out, you're not committing to anything. We will have a short conversation with you first, to make sure it's the right fit.
Is this You?
You're the one who holds everyone — and lately you've noticed there's nowhere, and no one, holding you.
You carry the invisible weight of the huge mental load of being a mom: the worry, the planning, the constant need for a nap, and the needs of your family that never stop.
You scroll, and everyone else seems to have it together, you feel so inspired by the moms you see, but sometimes it eats at you, and you start to wonder “what's wrong with me?”
You're exhausted, and tired of the constant managing, and even though you have meaningful relationships in your life, sometimes you don’t know how to go deeper then the surface to get the support you need.
HELD: A GROUP FOR MOTHERS
There is nothing quite like being held by a mother, but while you are doing all of the holding, who is holding you? This is a small, closed group of moms built to be that place: somewhere to step back from the constant weight of caring, set down the mental load, and be looked after, in a real way, by other moms that get it, and carrying the same thing.
So much of a mom's exhaustion lives in comparison, measuring what you feel on the inside against what everyone else seems to manage on the outside, especially online. This group turns that around. Instead of tending to the performance, we tend to what's underneath. Together, gently, we notice the patterns that keep you stuck in all the holding, the reflex to manage others emotions, to reassure, to minimize your own needs, to laugh so you don’t cry, to care for everybody else, and as we gently notice those relational patterns that stop you from being deeply cared for, they begin to loosen, and something becomes possible that's hard to reach alone: the experience of being received, right here, among women who understand. This group is not another performance. It is a place to drop the performance, be honest about the burden that comes with being a mom, and to learn how to deepen your relational capacity in a way that is less effortful so that you can more deeply connect with yourself, and other moms that get it.

WHAT TO EXPECT
What you'll take with you
This isn't eight weeks of relief that ends when the group does. It's a group that helps you to experience connection and deepens your ability to continue that connection in the most important relationships of your life. You'll leave with:
Real connection — the felt experience of being known by other moms who understand, both the joys and challenges of motherhood.
The truth that you're not alone — not as a pretty quote in a carousel on instagram, but as the experience of seeing other moms going through the same thing, and being deeply seen and held in the way for which you long.
Relational skills that stay with you — a deeper sense of how you connect, guard, and reach for others, and how to let people in, so the closeness you build here follows you home, into the relationships and friendships that matter most.
The point isn't only to feel held for eight weeks. It's to leave more able to be held, and to hold others in a way that is actually nourishing rather than depleting, for good.

Meet your Guides
JP and Meredith co-facilitate this group. Both are licensed clinical mental health therapists, but this is not a therapy group, we are not treating symptoms, or creating a treatment plan, we are supporting your personal growth through deeper connection. Meredith specializes in working with moms who are stretched thin and burnt out, and she's bringing that specialty into group work for a simple reason: healing happens in relationship. This group is build on the transformative experience that brings a deep recognition that you're not alone, and that finding a few others to connect with in a deep and honest way can be life-changing. Together, JP & Meredith facilitate the space in the room where, for once, you're the one being held.
A Couple of Questions?
-
No. This is a personal growth group. This group does not treat symptoms,or provide DSM-V-TR diagnosis. It is a group for moms who are feeling burnt out, and long for deeper connection and support. It is for those that are tired, and longing for more from their life. It's a personal growth group led by two licensed therapists, but here they're working here as facilitators of connection, not providers of therapy. This group is a place to be cared for, to set down the weight you carry, and to experience deep belonging. If you're already in therapy, this sits alongside it beautifully. And if what you're carrying feels heavier than this — closer to depression, or more than you can manage — we're glad to help you find the right kind of support instead; just ask.
-
Yes. Please arrange care for your kids during group. This is a space just for you, and being fully present is what lets you receive what's here. We know that's often the hardest part of saying yes. It's also, the point: you deserve the time and space to be on the other side of the caregiving.
Let Yourself Be Held
Eight weeks. A few moms who understand. A place to finally be held.
